Dan wants to drive a new superstore out of business, because it's hurting his favorite stores and encouraging Chris to purchase too many items in bulk. The elderly security guard of Gigundo-Mart sabotages Dan's plans to infiltrate and hijack the store. Meanwhile, Chris is addicted to buying items, including those that have no value or use for him and Elise is forced to lock him in a shed while she, like Dan, goes to sabotage the mart.
- Gigundo-Mart's prominent features on selling items for low prices appears to be an allusion to the Walmart chain with Chris serving as the main example of a stereotypical Walmart customer.
